With the offer of free consultation by DGJ Frankfurt and the commision to act as quarterarchitects the city Offenbach intensifies the address of houseowners in the Mathildenviertel and sets further important impulses for the revaluation of the quarter.

The city of Offenbach has been refurbishing the eastern city center for many years. With measures like the Mainbankbark, infrastructural projects like the Gründercampus „east pole “and a multiplicity of social measures like the quarter office and the quarter management, the Mathildenviertel is becoming an attractive city quarter for accommodation again. Also within the private sector many investments were transacted and private real estate was revalued by the owners. There are more than 2000 real estate owners in the Mathildenviertel. The city has been intensifying the contact to the owners over the past years and wants to further develop the collaboration with new projects in the future. One important goal is to improve the living quality particularly in the older building substance of the quarter where there are still many substantial possibilities for the improvement of the houses and the standards do not fit modern needs. Each customer has unique desires and requirements and no house resembles the other. Yet many owners balk the costs of a refurbishment, although one can achieve a lot with only a small degree of investment. Besides there are numerous advancement programs, which create attractive incentives for redevelopment. A goal is it to improve the apartment value and the living quality with an optimal cost-benefit ratio. In a free consultation each owner can inform himself about advancement programs, costs and financing possibilities. In this case the office advises individually to find the right strategy for each particular owner. The program therefore contributes to the preservation of the houses and the improvement of the quarters image. The owners benefit from the reduction of energy cost, better living quality and a nicer environment for living.
