The new bank branch in the historic part of Schaffhausen is planed as meeting place. The idea of a flowing bank interior is converted into the depth of the original medieval site, the customer area extends from the main street up to the courtyard and thus allows good natural lighting, a clear orientation for the customer and a clear organization for the bank's internal procedures. The elongated floor plan is structured by a contemporary architectural language into a sequence of rooms, which increasingly ensures confidentiality when you go backwards.
